This story is not mine but my moms. This story has seriously always had me wondering. I am new to Reddit so if this is in the wrong place I apologize.

When my mom was 15 she lived in a house on a cul-de-sac along with my grandmother. They did not have AC in their house so during the summer (in Texas which sounds like hell) they would just sleep with the windows open. One night my mom woke up to a strange feeling, she isn't entirely sure why she woke up. As she looks around the room she sees a shadow cast from the window. This is what creeps me out…he says when she looked up she saw what most people say is a" classic alien" (pale gray skin, huge black shiny eyes, almost light bulb shaped head). Apparently the creature noticed her looking up and ducked down below the window. After a few seconds creeped out under her blanket she decided she needed to leave her room to tell her mom. My mom said she checked the widow again to see if it was watching her but all she saw was elongated fingers with rounded tips holding onto the end of the window. As she crawled out of the room to tell her mom, well of course my grandma freaked out thinking it was some creep watching her daughter. Against my mothers pleas not to my grandma turns on all the lights, grabs her bat and runs to the front door my mom following. Apparently as soon as they got out all my mom saw was this creature running faster than any human could out of the cup-de-sac she said it was almost in a flash.

Unfortunately my grandmother is no longer alive so I cannot have her vouch for my mom.

My mom said after that she had constant dreams of aliens mostly hearing them walking on her roof, she said in one dream they were looking at her from the roof but she knew those were dreams. Growing up with my mom I always saw strange lights in the sky, and dozens of shooting stars around her. Since we no longer live together I haven't seen nearly as many shooting stars, and definitely no strange lights. It honestly kind of makes me wonder if my mom was possibly abducted at some point. I'm always a skeptic at heart.

Sorry this was so long. I am wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or heard similar stories. I'm sure my mom would like to hear.
