We were driving home at approx.2200 hrs when i saw what i thought was a new, very high radio tower. i then realized it was not that but an inverted l shape showing three lights, one on each corner. it ascended from the height i first observed it to a very high altitude. no sound. no flashing of the orange/yellow lights.I did not see any form of an aircraft or solid shape that would indicate what it was. movement west/southwest on rt 328 towards millerton pa.. it moved very fast and was soon out of sight. tried to get video of it but my old i4 did not record over 5 seconds of it. bright clear night. no cloud cover. bright moon. have never witnessed anything like this before. i have operated msq 28 radar and rhi radars in military and have experience as forward observer, identifying aircraft during the 1960’s for us army. non drinker or drug user. passenger in vehicle observed same thing i did.
