I have read some comments on this sub recently and it seems some people think the Rendlesham Incident is a sham of some sort, but IMO it's one of the best, well documented encounters of all time. I believe Colonel Halt and have always thought of him as an honest man, plus there are others who have claimed they were there and saw the same thing.

This book is expensive, around $45 from Barnes and Noble. I found a 25% off any book deal on slickdeals and figured I would pick it up. Wound up costing me about $34. Not sure if this was a small run of books or something but it took a long time to get delivered. Way longer than the estimated delivery date. First impressions were very good though. It is HUGE and filled cover to cover with color illustrations and photos/diagrams and lots of newspaper clippings. I have not completely read it yet because its nearly 800 pages. Seriously, it's as thick as a phone book.

These 2 pages are typical of the book, full color, very good stock paper and seems very well made. I doubt I will actually read it straight through, it's more of a reference book that I have been basically flipping back and forth between chapters. It's not just about the Rendlesham Incident, it has numerous other encounters as well.

Did I mention this is a big ass book? Overall I would recommend it for people interested not only in Charles Halt, but there are lots of other interesting sightings as well. So far I would guess I have read about 150-200 pages of the book. It's very easy to pick up and read for 20-30 mins and put back down, and I have also sat down and read it for well over 2 hours, looking at pictures and diagrams. It is a little expensive but I do not regret buying it. It's one of those books you can keep nearby and pick it up every now and then, and there is enough information it will be a while before I go through it all.
