I was driving out of my development tonight and saw a bright light hovering down the street, I started to follow it and it started increasing in speed very rapidly and silently.

It almost seemed to be going exactly where I was going. It almost seemed to wait for me to catch up. I got a fairly good look at it and it had many different lights, blinking in all sorts of odd patterns. It was not round, it was almost an oval shape, it had a very glassy or slick look to it.

I took a very quick video as I was driving but as I was approaching a dangerous intersection, so I had to stop. It zoomed past the intersection and completely disappeared.

After I took this video, I immediately watched the video and am shocked at what it looks like on the video. It is in the very top of the video. Please don't judge my recording abilities, I took this on my iPhone while I was driving, but I can confirm this was not a drone or plane, it was absolutely huge! Opinions please! I really think this was a UFO.
