These are close-ups… viewed at about a 45° angle, like from out the window of an airplane. Most people are used to looking at craters, trying to identify shapes that are very, very large. These are much smaller in scale.

The reason there are colored versions is so that you can compare to the B&W. Find a colored shape and then find that area in the B&W. If you take your time and stare INTO the image (instead of at it) then the view will “snap” and you will see them.
