I was stargazing on my roof (which i have never done before actually and witnessed 2 strange things.

1. Something that appeared very similar to the stars around it, a pinhole of light and i could tell it was much much further away than airliners which I also saw. It literally looked like a star but moved at a consistent and quick pace in a straight line across the sky which i observed for about 3 minutes between 9 pm and 10 pm (another individual with me saw the same thing).

2. I was staring at the sky and saw what i can only describe as a ship going into or exiting some kind of hyper speed. It was at a similar height to the other one but came out of nowhere and it trailed a path which was about 6 inches long from my perspective behind it which was as bright as a lighting flash but it stayed for a few seconds. It was SO bright the person with me yelled "did you see that!" Without even looking at it because they saw the intense brightness out of the corner of their eye.

I think i shall stargaze more often and with camera equipment (im doubtful I could get anything besides the bright trail on camera though.)
