American’s love their UFO’s. Buzz60’s Emily Drooby (@emilydrooby) has the story. Buzz60
In December 1965, hundreds of people saw a “green glowing object with wisps of yellow, purple and orange colors,” in the night sky over western Pennsylvania.
Soon, the military — men in suits and uniforms, some in hazmat gear — was swarming the scene where the “UFO” landed.
Witnesses describe a metal object — some say was 10 to 12 feet and looked like an acorn. Soon it was loaded into a truck and carted away, leaving residents worried about radiation and speculating about what happened that night.
That’s the muddy picture of the “Kecksburg UFO” incident presented in a 2015 article by the Post-Gazette.
Now a Pennsylvania-based film company wants to clear up unanswered questions.
Was it a Russian satellite?
A secret U.S. military operation?
… Something else?
TribLive reports that Grand Conspiracy films is planning a movie on the topic.
They’re currently casting for roles, and filming is scheduled to begin in 2018.
