NASA may help pay for our UFO Camera Network – but I think we need to help them.

I asked NASA regarding the Fireball program if we could add camera to their existing Fireball network. They said no (below) BUT they said they want more locations to setup THEIR network.

You know, we could map out the properties along the paths specified by NASA, approach those property owners and ask them if they would entertain a NASA Fireball camera installed on their property.

That might be an interesting project, NASA foots the bill and we get the additional cameras.

Hi Mr. Wehbe,

Unfortunately, non-NASA systems can’t communicate with our server, so systems you built couldn’t be added to our network.

BUT – we are extremely interested in expanding the NASA network into the northeast. We are looking for interested partners in eastern PA, southeastern NY, NJ, MD, DE, CT, MA, and RI. NASA loans the camera and the computer, the partner provides the site with power, internet, etc. We place sites in groups of 2-3, separated by 50-90 miles. I’ve attached a list of site requirements and an easy, 1 page site proposal form if you are interested.

Best, ~Danielle Danielle Moser
