This happened fairly recently so my memory is still pretty clear on what I saw. I've had some odd things happen to me in my day like seeing shadow people or hearing strange noises in my house ect. But nothing in plain day light like this. A few months ago around late July I was walking my dog on my local beach in northeast Florida. It was around noon because I remember the sun just beating down on us. After walking for about an hour I decided to sit on a large piece of driftwood and just relax and enjoy the day. I tied my dogs leash to a branch on the driftwood (more like dead tree) so I wouldn't have to worry about him running around causing trouble. So I was sitting there looking at the horizon when I saw something really shiny just above the water about a mile out. I of course just thought it might be a balloon or some kind of buoy. But then it suddenly darted to the right and then back to where it had been. I was totally in awe, I mean I'd never seen anything move so damn fast in my life, not even a meteorite! Also how it just darted straight back to where it was incredible. So anyway I kept looking at it trying to figure out what it was when it literally came up just off the shore in the blink of an eye. I kind of jumped back and then I got up off the driftwood. I looked around to see if anyone had just seen what I had but the only people on the beach were so far away I could barely see them. I looked back at the object and started to notice that It was a shiny metallic oval shaped object that had what looked like a yellow line going across it. It just sort of hovered above the water motionless for a few seconds and right before I got my phone out to take a pic it shot up into the sky leaving a hole in a cloud. It was almost like it knew I was reaching for my phone. It was a crazy experience. Anyone see anything similar on the east coast? Any questions?
