I've been watching UFO videos and documentaries for a long time now. There are only a handful of sightings that I feel are difficult to deny or explain. The Rendlesham sightings have always been one of the cases I would use as solid proof that It may be possible that the UFO phenomenon is real.

Then Sgt. Jim Penniston came along and claimed he touched the UFO and was given a binary message that was transfered into his brain. This portion of the story just ruined it for me… I'm sorry but this guy sounds like a total fraud.

So my questions are: 1) do you believe this is a legit sighting? 2) what do you think of Sgt. Jim Penniston's claims? 3) could Penniston's claims be an attempt at disinformation in order to discredit the sighting or just a guy trying to grab some extra attention/money? 4) if you think it is a hoax why?
