So in light of the recent post of an object seemingly following a flight of B-2 bombers I thought I would post my own similar sighting.

After seeing this recent post I decided to post a similar sighting of my own.

It would have been about the end of 2010, I was sitting on the porch of my son's home in western Las Vegas having a smoke. Being a private pilot myself I am a little more observant of aircraft than most. While sitting there I noticed the contrail of a jet aircraft passing over on a easterly heading and looked closer at the jet out of curiosity.

This is when I saw something I am at a loss to understand. Some distance to the left and behind the aircraft creating the contrail was a silver sphere pacing the aircraft. When I first saw it I thought it was a mirage or vision artifact. But I watched it for some time until it faded into the haze as it and the aircraft approached the horizon.

What I saw was almost identical to this image posted by u/redwoody86 and was pacing the aircraft at a fixed distance. The object was spherical without wings or other extremities. It was making no contrail and was not any type of aircraft I have ever heard of.

I doubt, whatever these are, that they are extraterrestrial. Perhaps they are some classified project. At the time I wondered why some classified military project would be pacing a civilian airliner. But now in light of u/redwoody86's post I wonder if the aircraft I saw making the contrail and being followed was military after all.

Never mentioned this before as I have no proof and had never heard of too many sightings of objects pacing aircraft before.
