Park Ranger surveillance from Round Rock Parks and Recreation has revealed photographs of some very strange footprints found at various trails and parks in the region.

The department made a posting on Facebook asking if anyone comes across anything strange or phenomena that cannot be explained, to get in touch with them and show their pictures off. Following the posting made on 11 June, three black and white photographs have been posted and the Round Rock Parks and Recreation have now opened up about sightings of footprints that are said to be those belonging to Bigfoot.

They say that everything is bigger in Texas and it seems that this also includes footprints of Sasquatch, or Bigfoot, as some people say. Just a few days after the posting another one came to light and this one showed off clumps of hair that was said to be curious. This brought the question up of whether a Texas Bigfoot was living north of Austin in the Brushy Creek region.

The photographs that were posted by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department even had the locations in which the photograph was posted and the timestamp of when the photograph was taken and date.

On June 10 a photograph was taken in Freeman Park of what is said to be a footprint that is well defined. The Park is a new park of 40 acres that is located at the trailhead of the trail system of Brushy Creek. The second photograph comes from a 645-acre park with the name of Old Settlers Park and this includes Bright Lake, which is well-stocked, but the park is more well-known for the sporting facilities.

Another photograph was shown with a Ranger standing at the side of it showing his foot in relation to the one on the ground. This one came from Brushy Creek Trail East, which is the location of the round rock which gave the city its name.

What were said to be hair samples had been captured on camera at Rabb Park, which is located in Brushy Creek and which includes a small picnic region with the name of Kinningham Park and McNeil Park, which are both popular as softball tournaments are held there. It does seem as though Bigfoot has taken a liking to the parks of Round Rock.

There are many skeptics who have the belief that it is nothing more than an employee of the park who is making the footprints and leaving strange hair to be found, so as to make the park more popular and bring in visitors. They said that it is strange that the footprints and hair have all been found at trails and parks in the region and were managed to be caught on film.

The Houston Chronicle was able to be open-minded about it and some experts were interviewed when they had seen the photographs. Russel Miller, who is said to be an authority of the Southeast Texas Bigfoot, spoke up about the photos he had been shown. He said that one of the photos definitely did not look authentic as the footprint had an instep that was too narrow.

Miller went on to say that the parks in Round Rock are nice but they are not the places that would be visited by a Bigfoot. Miller went on to say that Bigfoot does prefer woods that are much denser in East Texas. Some people also pointed out the obvious thing about the photos, why would the surveillance camera trigger and take a photograph of a footprint that Bigfoot had left behind, but not capture the creature that had made that footprint? Another question posed was why someone had not taken the hair samples to have them DNA analyzed.
