There has been a lot of speculation over how crop circles are made. It could be from aliens, or humans, or goats on opioids. Regardless of who created them, 2016 had no shortage of crop circles. They are beautiful, and the best five are below.
5. Stonehenge, Wilts in July
In 1996 a beautiful crop circle appeared near Stone Hedge. This year a nearly identical one appeared in almost the same place. The older one was larger, but they are both beautiful and mathematical in design. The seven point star symbolizes otherworldliness and enlightenment.
4. Ansty, Salisbury, Wiltshire in August
This crop circle has a striking resemblance to the Mothership Glass logo, which is a popular sci-fi shop. It still could be alien, though, no one is saying aliens don’t like sci-fi!
3. Chilcomb Ranges, Hampshire, England in August
There are 200 total triangles in this amazing design. People who have studied this design say that it also shows the number 23 and that it may represent a calendar of some sort.
2. Reigate Hill, Reigate, Surrey in July
This crop circle looks sort of like a 2002 one that was created and very clearly shows an alien face. Maybe it is trying to communicate? Also, at this location, a woman was found trying to absorb the crop circle’s “vortex energy.” This crop circle was on private property.
1. Ranscomb Bottom, Calstone Wellington, Wilts in July
This crop circle was considered the best and most complicated and interesting crop circle of 2016. It is over 450 feet wide and has been called perplexing. It has a beautiful geometric design and is very beautiful. Whoever created this must have taken the time to design it perfectly. If this is a human creation, many artists sure would like to meet that person.
