A 12-year-old pre-teen Nicole Barr posted an incredible perfect score of 162 in her IQ test surpassing notable geniuses like Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein.

According to reports, Barr who is the daughter of a Roman immigrant schooling in Essex was shocked by her performance in the test calling it unexpected. The result places her among the top 1% smartest people in the world.

Barr took the test with her 36-year-old father who claimed he suspected his daughter was a clever intellect and thought it was a good idea to see how she would perform on the test. It wasn’t a surprise to him that she made the 98th percentile.

Her father says she has always loved numbers and puzzles, and always posted an excellent score at math. Her performance in school was beyond her age.

Her achievement has sparked excitement in the community where she resides. Her father says her story goes to show that academic intelligence is not a function of one’s background or social status.

Barr’s teacher at her present school Burnt Mill Academy in Harlow attests to the fact that she is a very bright pupil and is confident Nicole would realize her dream of becoming a doctor some day. According to her Nicole was able to calculate complex algebra before she turned 10.

Only kids can post IQ scores higher than 161-the highest score for adults. Nicole now joins 110,000 persons worldwide who have scored above 161 IQ score.

The standard IQ score is 100 with a standard deviation of 15. The Wechsler scale places IT scores into seven categories with a score above 130 deemed superior. Many schools in the United States use an IQ score of 130 as cut-off for admission. With this score, a kid can comprehend more materials.
