Two white orbs have been caught on camera floating above a city, leaving shocked onlookers staring up to the sky.

The identical UFOs were seen above George Town on the Malaysian island of Penang, yesterday and shared online.

Wang Soon You uploaded the footage to his Facebook wall with the comment: “A UFO appeared over Penang skies, would you believe me.”

It was shared more than 250,000 times although people disagree about what they think has cause the strange phenomenon.

Shirley Sharine said it looked like a military aeroplane, while Sharlynn Charlsharlynn Lim said that “maybe it’s a drone”.

Jimmy Chng said that it could be a DJI Phantom 4 quadcopter, but another Facebook user asked whether a drone could be so large.
