I can't figure it out and I have no idea where to begin researching. I live in Alberta, Canada, and despite having a UFO Landing pad in St Paul, AB, there have been no major sightings here/around the major cities. This begs the question: what makes a hot spot? and: is it because of the weather? (-30C in winter).

any ideas?
