The #1 Paranormal News Site
It has been proven that ghost hunters are not the only paranormal enthusiasts that are prone to getting themselves into trouble as three hikers who were out on a hunt for UFOs found themselves being the target of a hunt by rescuers when they had to be rescued out on the wilderness in Massachusetts.
The trio of UFO spotters went out into the Blue Hills Reservation state park, which is expansive, and climbed a large hill and then found out that they had left it too late to get back down due to weather conditions changing which left it dangerous for them to venture down in the dark.
One of the ufologists had even decided that it was appropriate to wear slippers, instead of hiking boots or even shoes, when he went out into the wilderness. Even when forgiving this foolishness, what was perhaps even worse, is that the group did not take any flashlights on their journey into the Blue Hills Reservation state park and the batteries of their cell phones had not been fully charged and they almost ran out of power and died on them during the trip.
One of the hikers had the audacity to tell a reporter for the Boston Globe that they had been a little unprepared, but that has to be the understatement of not only the year but the century.
Search Helicopter, K-9s And Ground Personnel Rescued UFO Spotters
The state police had to send a helicopter along with K-9 units and ground personnel to try to locate the group and eventually they found them and helped them to get out of the strange predicament. It seems that the hunters actually became the hunted, by the police.
While the outing did have an ending that was a disaster for the group of hikers, the hikers did say that it had all been worth it as they had seen two ships that had very bright spotlights along with what they described to be a strange orb that looked like a spotlight. Of course, perhaps this might have been the searchlight from the helicopter that was looking for them.
Aliens Were Not Helpful In Getting Them To Safety
The reporter joked with the trio saying that if it had been a UFO it was a shame that the aliens had not been able to use their bright light to show them the way back down. One of the group said that the alien had not been helpful in that way.
The saga, at least for some people, does seem to confirm that perhaps aliens are not on Earth to save us, or they would not have left the group stranded up on the mountain, especially with one of the group only having carpet slippers on his feet.
