So I was driving to pick my niece up this morning at around 6:45 near Alton, Hampshire. The sky was clear but still dark. All of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a stream of bright green light shooting from above my car down towards the horizon. It was too big to be a satellite and definitely within the earths atmosphere. There is no way it could have been a plane as it was travelling so fast that if you had blinked it would be gone. Did anyone else see anything and/or have an explanation for it?
