I'm a pretty cynical, logical person. I do have a fantasy world in my head, like I've always believed in life outside of our solar system, but I didn't believe any of the eyewitness testimonies or documentaries. I'm a see-to-believe kind of person. And holy fuck, I may be convinced. Though I kind of want this to be a UFO, I'm wondering if anyone could diffuse this with logic. My whole reality has been shattered and I've been pretty fucked up.

Last night I was driving passed the Sikorsky airport in Stratford, Connecticut on Route 15 south at about 9:00 PM when I looked up and saw what I thought to be a shooting star… no maybe it's a plane… maybe it's a comet… maybe it is a plane? I questioned all of this in the long 8-12 seconds it was crossing the sky. Visually, it looked like a comet with a tail and everything. It was so close I could see the shimmering of the tail and the fact that there was an object that was being propelled. What fucked me up the most was how close it was – because I've seen many many shooting stars in my lifetime, but they were usually 30 miles up. This was about 3-5 miles up. Like a landing-plane distance. It kind of ported in somehow, by the time my eye caught it it had already appeared in my sight. Another thing that fucked me up was the speed of this thing and the how it was traveling. The speed was so foreign to me… slower than a shooting star but faster than a plane, like someone popped in a VHS of a plane and sped it up. It just felt weird to watch. It traveled in a perfect horizontal line. I've never seen a shooting star go directly across, there's always a downward angle or at least upward. This was directly across. When it flew directly in front of me it blinked light like a plane which brought me back to that rationalization… but it wasn't a plane. It traveled from the left side of my vision to the right, technically going North, then after about 8 seconds it boomeranged outward towards space in an instant. After this encounter I screamed and repeated "HOLY FUCK" for about two full minutes then called my sister.
