My boyfriend and i went outside in maricopa az and noticed a large, bright orange light in the sky. we observed it for a while and another one appeared to the left of the first one. we initially thought it was paper lanterns. then the newer one faded out, followed by the other one fading. we kept watching and the first light reappeared, slightly to the east. the second one came back as well. they both disappeared again, gently fading out. the first one kept coming back more and more to the east every 3-5 minutes. this lasted for approximately 30 minutes. while the lights were visible they were mainly orange but would sometimes flash white and green. our dogs were acting anxious and acted strange throughout the event. the object went too far east to see after a while.
