While observing perseids meteor shower, spotted a light in the northeastern sky. the light was stationary and pulse slowly, like a lighthouse or beacon. occasionally, the light would flash quickly and very brightly. it appeared to be high in the sky, and we could not see the object itself. there was no sound. after about 10 minutes, it moved off slowly to the east, then abruptly vanished.
