I was driving to work at around 6:45 a.M. one morning in early to mid-december,2016, going southwest on middletown road in noblesville,in, not far from the durbin area. it was a clear morning and i could see quite a few stars in front of me. initially, none of them stood out, although one, in retrospect, was more of an orange color and larger than the rest. this light was toward the left side of my vision when i noticed it rapidly growing to about three times brighter and larger than its original size. by the time i was able to register it and turn in its direction, it was gone. i’d say it took about one to one and a half seconds for it to get as bright as it did, but it disappeared in an instant. i continued to look in the area i had seen it in for some time after but it never returned. if i’m being honest, the incident wasn’t all that profound. i just saw what seemed to be an immobile star in my peripheral vision get brighter and brighter before blinking out. after it happened, i thought that it was all a little strange and then realized that what i saw was a ufo in some sense of the word, although it was not flying from what i could tell. maybe there is an explanation for this sort of thing, but i’ve never seen anything like this. i’ve seen shooting stars, satellites, etc., but this was far different.
