Talking to a co-worker on a golf course. i noticed a star that was very bright and i had the thought is that moving and blew it off instantly trying to pay attention to the conversation. out of the corner of my eye i noticed a light in the north west shoot straight down leaving a trail but not like a shooting star and the fastest i’ve ever seen anything move. and it just completely vanished trail and all. i looked to the west where the star was and it was gone. it happened over where a radio tower is located and blinking airplane lights in the distance. a period of maybe 30 seconds between me noticing a star like light high up in western sky and the light shooting down in the nw sky.
