I was camping on beach with a youth i worked with. we had went for walk to collect wood for fire and the beach is quite big we looked back to see if fire still lit. above the embankment looking out to sea was a very large ball of light. it was vibrating and made you feel sick staring at it. we got phones out to take a pic but both are batteries dead. this was around 23:00 ish. the young lad being a teen started shouting at the object and it vanished. we got back to camp and our phones came on again also it was 02:00. it had apparently taken us 2 and half hours to walk 500ft. back and told work colleagues which was met with mockery of event. i am an ex royal marine and pretty observant when it comes to aircraft recognition but this was something else.
