I recently read ufos over new york by preston dennett. it was the first time i became aware that twa flight 800 had been documented as being shot down by a ufo. as stated above, i dreamt that night about a jet to the south being shot down by a blaze of white light. i then dreamt i went downstairs and out the front door into the sunlight and encountered a craft that reminded me of a small space shuttle type vehicle standing on ‘legs and feet’. it was translucent/transparent and glowed in a hazy way. it was phosphorescent with areas of lime green, yellow, orange, white. it just sat there. as i am terribly afraid of ufos, i did not linger and went back inside. though it was a dream, the sighting of the craft feels like a real event to me, while the witnessing of the jet being shot down was part of a dream. obviously i have never forgotten this and reading the account in dennett’s book validates my experience. as i followed the news coverage of the event with great interest at the time, i was always certain the plane had been indeed shot down.
