Unsettling footage showing a mysterious object hovering above Los Angeles has surfaced – amid sinister predictions that a hidden planet would bring about the end of the world.
The video shows a glowing white ball in the sky, and appears to have been filmed from outside a home in the Californian city of Anaheim.
It was posted on Twitter by Adam Tafoya, who wrote: “Just seen the UFO !!”
The 10-second clip was accompanied by a caption which read: “Omg look what we’ve seen!!!”
Over the weekend it was predicted that a hidden planet would strike the earth, causing the end of humanity.
While experts dismissed the possibility, a number of mysterious objects in the sky over LA prompted a lot of uncertainty.

One person wrote on Twitter: We totally just saw UFO over Los Angeles! crazy crescent wing out of light, sputtered slowly, then zoomed outta here! That was nuts.’
Another branded the lights in the sky ‘cool, yet scary’.

The mysterious planet, referred to as both Planet X and Nibiru, is believed to be 10 times the size of earth, and is thought to orbit the sun every 3,600 years.
Thankfully the gloomy prediction that it would hit the Earth did not come true.
The latest sighting, which emerged yesterday, is not the first time in recent months that paranormal activity is suspected in Anaheim.
In June a member of the public wrote of a sighting on website UFO Stalker : “I saw a large moon sized super bright object with very colorful rings around it. also was a faintly glowing orb darting around, moving in and out of the large object, and moving extremely fast at very sharp angles.”
