UFO: The Otis Files is the latest film to star horror movie veteran David C. Hayes.

The movie, which was written and filmed in Michigan, stayed local with the casting, including three Downriver natives.

May 6 saw the film premier at the Howell Theater.

Stefani Manard of Wyandotte and Eduardo Martin of Allen Park star with Hayes (who lives in Howell), and former Taylor resident Kasey Pierce had a small role.

The movie, written by Trico J. Lutkins,  is a mockumentary about a simple man, Otis, played Hayes. Otis claims to have seen an alien.
